With 6yrs of experience, Shakira has supported various individuals from different walks of life, such as those with mental health issues, children from dysfunctional backgrounds, the elderly who feel lonely, and adults suffering from suicidal thoughts. She is a dedicated counsellor specializing in addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals and families in the Pakistani / Indian and broader Asian community.
With a deep understanding of the cultural values, traditions, and expectations that can often influence personal and family dynamics, she provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore issues such as intergenerational conflict, identity struggles, mental health, marriage and relationship concerns, and the pressures of living up to societal expectations.
By integrating culturally sensitive approaches with modern counselling techniques, Shakira helps clients navigate their personal journeys while honouring their heritage and identity.
